I visited hospital yesterday and found out that my cancer has not spread its a little more advanced than we thought but should be operable. I have been told that a third surgeon is needed for my operation so I know this should hopefully ensure all goes well. Due to the complex nature of the surgery I may have to wait a bit longer as this will now be on the nhs and will take up to a month.
Yesterday I felt happier than i had in weeks so thats a step in the right direction. I am also finally getting a nurse to talk to so that should be a big support. Will not find out till after surgery if I need Radiotherapy I was told at first I wouldnt have it (due to previous surgery) but have now been told I may have to have it.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
