It's the first day after my 7th chemo session. I washed my hair this morning. The last few weeks, I have probably had half a plughole of hair. This morning. 2 plugholes full of hair. Literally a whole clump, a handful! Also have lost most of my eyebrows (which were always thin anyway) and only a few lashes left. Looks like I will have to start being very creative and get that emergency standby cosmetic kit out...
No matter how much you think you are prepared, it is still very difficult when it starts to become reality.
