Goodbye Sammieo

Less than one minute read time.

Not sure if any of Sam's family will find the time to come onto this site to officially inform us of the sad sad passing of Samantha, Sam to most of us but I know many of you will want to leave a message somewhere to remember her and wish her well on the new part of her journey.

I met Sam about 2 years ago on the old What Now site and she has had to fight like hell for the entire time, fight for treatment and fight to stay alive.  She did this courageously and with dignity and always with the love and help of her young children and her husband.

Sam I am glad you got to be married before you left us, I wish you eternal peace.

With sadness & honour in just knowing you, even if it was over the internet.  You were an inspiration to others battling this godawful disease.

PEACE BE JOURNEY

Much love, Debs xx

I am so shocked and saddened to hear Sam lost the fight. Such a brave lady, she did indeed fight like hell to stay alive. She was one special lady and friend, always spoke her mind and was my ally on many an occasion.

I just cant find the words, the tears are flowing, another star in the sky tonight.

Condolences to Sams babies and to her family.

Love you so much Sammie, peace be yours my friend xxxx

    Hello Debs

I didn`t realise that Sammie had passed away until i saw Marshas update tonight.

I am just so very sad for her and her poor children and family.

I felt sad because i know Sammie was looking forward to her wedding aswell which i thought was in July. I`m so happy that she did get married I didn`t know that so thank you Debs.

Sam and I used to pm eachother way back. And i have always admired her courage and strength.

She was such a strong person and a lovely mum.

I just feel desperately sad that she has gone.

Sammie I wish you peace and I know you will stay close to your children and your family xxxx

I had the privilege of meeting Sam on the day she first joined the old What Now site.  She was so scared, so frightened by her diagnosis, but she fought her enemy like the courageous mother lion that we all knew her to be.

My heart breaks that she has left such young children.

    Sleep tight, Sam.

    Marsha xx
