Debs Daily Deliberations 93

Evening All, Today has been better........for me at least, not sure about the rest of the family LOL My "tetchniness" is not subsiding quickly enough according to the Hubby, he is beginning to look frazzled. I started the day with a chocolate twist - purely on oncologists orders to help raise my potassium level ;) and a cuppa tea. All too soon we were off in the car dropping Jack at the sports centre to help the chief instructor grade some students and us continuing to the vets with both "boys" for their boosters. The injections have knocked the stuffing out of our little darlings and they have just wanted to snooze on and off all day - I am hoping that Ollie sleeps tonight!!!!!!! A lazy day, apart from some laundry I have done nothing much at all. Dinner was our usual "pick n mix"...I oven roasted some peppers, onions, potatoes and vine cherry tomatoes finished with some warmed goats cheese. We had toasted pitta bread, halloumi cheese, houmous, tzatziki and breadsticks. We finished off with profiteroles - again medicinal for the dark choccy flakes on top LOL I bought a bar of Green & Blacks organic dark chocolate - YUKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK will stick to getting my potassium from banana's me thinks! I have re-discovered ginger beer today, forgot how much I enjoyed it. Jack has gone camping tonight in the forest - wonder if they stay the night, Jack does like his home comforts and will soon tire of listening to rain on the roof! One of his friends lives right on the edge of the forest, so they are ordering takeout and getting his mum to deliver!!! Cheeky buggers! Slightly more boring blog but at least its not doom & gloom....the jetset lifestyle is hard to maintain on a single wage LOL Thought for today: Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful. Your comment about today being better but unsure if family would agree, reminded me of a time when I was talking to a friend.  She was asking how I was coping being menopausal and was I on patches, I replied no didn't need patches as wasn't bad at all and not really suffering that much.  That's when my youngest son Ross chirped in with "No its us that's suffering. Its like that time of month every bloody day"  Well really, can't take em anywhere...;-)
