Well day 23 done and they only get to zap my bonce for 10 more times!!!!!!
Today was image day, do you know how hard it is to smile in that mask, told Vicky my favourite RT nurse that on my last images I am sooooo tempted to give the thumbs up right beside my face so they show up. She answered with a big smile "without even looking at the name on the image, we would SO know they were yours".......do you think thats a compliment or not - answers on a postcard please, winner gets my facemask LOL Also they had the Blues Brothers soundtrack playing - OMG do you know how hard it was not to tap my feet and hands to the music, told them to have crap music tomorrow, boring slow crap music so I dont feel the need to dance!
Met a lovely lady today having RT for breast cancer, we were talking wigs etc and she whipped off her gorgeous purple silk scarf to proudly display her new growth...........looked beautiful too but I just dont have the face for bald - radio yes! Head felt a little sore in places last night, not so bad today but the RT team said I was very lucky to get this far without any soreness - yay me LOL
Been to Tesco's already and we are having the following for dinner, fancied sommat really tasty today:
Pan fried fillet of lamb with garlic, mushrooms & rosemary in red wine
Mustard Mash
Asparagus
Carrots
Cabbage & Leek
Well, we will be having that if I get off my ample a$$ at some point and wash up from last night! Not usually that lazy but I went and watched the kids do their advanced kata class - I miss my two girlfriends there and last night we pretty much talked about poo all evening and I laughed so much my stomach hurt and I thought the instructor was going to ask us to sit outside the hall !!!!!!!!

again Debs. The food sounds wonderful, I've got asparagus as well - but I'm having a lazy dips and stuff meal tonight - with bubbly stuff to celebrate the start of my last chemo tomorrow. I've done all my housework this morning, nor too shattered but did struggle to get out of the bath !! ;)). I hate my bathroom floor, its white ceramic tiles and my hair is shedding everywhere, despite me sweeping it, hoovering it and washing it. I've now done the equivelent of brushing in under the carpet.:)))

Sounds great Debs - where do I find this pre-prepared meal in Tescos? Only joking, I'm sure you're beavering away as I type this. Just wish you wouldn't show off with your menu, I've now got to think of something tonight which isn't just a stick it in the oven job. Or..... you could prepare enough for us and send it by courier with instructions!
Off, I go then to shove a trolley around the aisles with enthusiasm!

Well I got off that ample a$$ and printed out 80 leaflets that I designed for hubbies new karate club, have peeled the potatoes, peeled the garlic (read somewhere it should be peeled at least 15mins before use for the magic to happen LOL) done the carrots, just got to slice the mushrooms and blanche the asparagus oh and cook the lamb!!!!
Just thought I would tell you this before I forget AGAIN, a couple of days ago hubby and I had some really wicked thoughts - <strong> not that sort </strong>, when the radiotherapist told me I was going to lose a lot of hair I was undeniably distraught, so we went to Holland & Barrett (yep more product placements) and I bought some "Hair Food" after researching what nutrients and supplements promote/stimulate hairgrowth. Again it may do nothing but it made me feel in control, well after a few days of starting it my hair fell out big time over Easter, trying to make light of it I suggested we go back to H&B and tell them their product doesn't work, hubby said "I dare you to take your hat off and say, 'look what its done' ".........I almost cried with laughter but.......I dont wanna incur any more bad kama or the wrath of anyones god......so I didn't - but I wanted to LOL
Debs, your blogs are so funny! But that aside, 1 extra for dinner at yours tonight please! I promise not to eat everything - perhaps kerrie can supply some cakes just in case!
I have made a decision on hair pieces for you and I think the look Billy Idol had (check white wedding video) is the one for you! Either that or Duddly Moore!!!!!! The decision is yours!
BTW you best turn up to the next karate class with a bonzai tree or something for Miagi! Such insolence will not be tolerated!!!
