Debs Daily Deliberations 89

1 minute read time.
Evening Folks, Yes me again LOL I was woken today at 4.16am PRECISELY by hubby snoring! I gently nudged him......pushed my pillow up, turned over vigorously but all to no avail. Gave up and came downstairs to snuggle on the sofa with a throw, but one of the kids mobile phones had other plans........it was running out of charge so intermittantly beeped....do you think I could find the feckin thing!!!!!!!!!! Hubby came down just after 6am looking fresh as a daisy and asked me why I was up so early, you will be pleased to know he left for work able to see out of both eyes!!!!! Got the kids off to school, did some laundry, played with my gorgeous pup and rescued Dexter from being pestered.....finally they both fell asleep and I got to eat my melon and grapes for breakfast (yes read that fruit for breakfast, how good am I LOL). Went into chat after having a good convo with Dev on facebook (even tho facebook was conspiring against us) and some good banter was had in there.....glad to know that Scat is only growing tomatoes and not weed LOL Tried introducing Ollie to Henry the hoover but again he wasn't keen LOL That could be a very good excuse for me not hoovering anymore, whadya think? Lara got home from school and I walked to Tesco's dodging a heavy rainstorm and Tony met me there and brought me back. Dinner was morrocan chicken in a spicy chickpea tagine with couscous, purple sprouting broccoli, wilted spinach and asparagus and it was delicious!!!!!!! Sean and Lara had four cheese tortellini cos they don't do spicy!!!!!! So two sittings and the cafe closed, I finished with a raspberry split icelolly oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah As I type this the Michael Jackson Farewell is being broadcast.....I now know that even if I don't want a religious funeral by gawd I want a gospel choir - gets ya rockin eh! Thought for today: “Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything. Love still stands when all else has fallen.”

  • The phone story reminded me of my stay in hospital, an old guy in th bed across from me was given a phone and he did not know how to use it poor old soul. Anyway 3 nights on the trot at around 12.30 it would start as marketing texts were sent. He tried switching it off but did not know how to and one of the nurses tried to no avail and in the end we used to take the battery out each night and put it back the next morning. At first it was irritating but became a big joke on the ward for the week. I wonder what he's  doing now. I can still hear the ring tone ha ha

It kept us laughing which we needed.
