Debs Daily Deliberations 88

2 minute read time.
Morning All, The sun is out, the sky is blue, there's not a cloud to spoil the view - for the moment......sunshine & showers today apparently. Right back to yesterday and where I left off. Pottered about my house, played with the dogs, did a little housework and then came to the computer, the force was too strong to deny lol Still couldn't get on this site so settled for Facebook, miffed at myself that I missed Lorraine popping up! Had a good chat to Kerrie and decided enough was enough.......I had to find a way back on here that wouldn't just last for a day or so. Well I ring up me old mate Richard Branson, apparently he was a tad busy on this occassion so I got one of his technical engineers. I tried explaining my problem and before he could tell me they couldn't help and that it was down to the admins here, I ashamedly played the "brain tumour" card. NEVER done that before, but I explained that I was about to start my 2nd cycle of chemo and the isolation on top was just too much. I was very lucky to get a sympathetic ear and he got onto a couple of colleagues who came back and gave me directions to put in Virgins own proxy server details into my internet connection. Voilaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa here I am, probably somewhere down the line karma will come back and bite me on my ample bum but for now I am back and able to use all the facilities. Its amazing how the names in that chatroom become more than just that and the people and their lives evolve into an important part of your own life. Watching people come in and out and ask after other users, see people help or try to help new users never ceases to amaze me, none of us have met - we are words on a screen but when you can't access those words on a screen you realise how much they really mean to you. And that dear What Nowers is about as mushy as I am gonna get LOL I am wondering how Steve aka Brambledigger is doing, his blogs always give me such a laugh. Just finished my breakfast of melon and grapes, both dogs asleep so time for a quick cuppa and bath. Thought for today: The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life. Andrew Brown
