Debs Daily Deliberations - 8

2 minute read time.
Morning my Shiny Happy Monday People (thats exactly how I addressed the RT Team today too!) Day 22, 11 more to go! Oh I got handed a questionnaire about the RT and oncology department today, thought I might have needed extra paper at one point ;) Lets say on the strength of my answers, the RT department should get a bonus whilst the oncs get a kick up the backside - NUFF SAID The rain has been welcome today after all the gardening I supervised at the weekend ;) However, it could have waited until I had got home from grocery shopping, I forgot how tricky it is to multitask with shopping bags and an umbrella LOL Randomly, just thought I would share that I think I have the only bloody dog to be allergic to grass! This time every year he goes beserk, dragging himself across the carpet/floor and then biting and scratching, was so bad last nigh I thought his dangly bits might detatch!!!!!!!!!!! We have always put it down to stress - we have gone away and left him with grandma this time of year usually- but apart from my RT he has someone home with him all day now! So after bathing him in warm water, I smothered him in my aqueous cream, which is fine cept he seems to like the taste of it, bloody daft dog!!!! Kept the hubby up most of the night again again (apparently) - now this I am fine with, cos I think it evens the balance of when we had 3 kids that he tells everyone slept right through from day one - just means he never flipping heard them!!!!!!!! I am feeling kinda upbeat altho for some bizarre reason I was compelled to buy a bloomin huge bag of pickled onion monster munch which I consumed whilst reading Indie's blog - OMG they have gotta be bad for you. Definately must be nearing "that time" of the month, cos otherwise it means I am pregnant LMAO Right, I gotta get onto Macmillan to see if I can book an appointment for them to help me fill out the Disability Allowance thingy, I no longer have the patience for big forms etc these days and wanna get it done right! Quote for today “Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”Steve Jobs

Debs,  'monster munch' of all things.  yuk.   Whilst you have been for your had treatment and done your shopping, I have been lazing at home trying to recover from a hectic week-end. (Shame on me).

Good luck with disability forms.   Such a minefield of questions, they certainly make you jump through hoops to get anything don't they?   Anyway,  enjoyed your blog (again)   You make me smile. x x. Love Patricia x x

Hi Debs - enjoy your blogs - I went to Maidstone for radiotherapy too!

But changing subject, my dog has itchy skin in summer, her tummy gets red raw. I find tea tree spray (from a pet shop) cools and seems to soothe it. Also, anything with  beef in it makes her worse!!

Good luck with the rest of your RT, Jeanie x

Oh that made me laugh - I did clinic today - will blog it later... and after needed to do shopping.  I also needed a collor and dog food for the new addition to the house.  Got home knowing I wouldn't get parked cos you never can becaue of the college students...so had to carry the bags down the road, three trips for three bags!!!  So sympathies on the multitasking.

    Take care me duck
