Debs Daily Deliberations - 7

1 minute read time.
I feel better today, no headache and only slight nausea - still thinking its my bloomin hormones (trust that bit to still be working like clockwork). Slow start, watched most of the marathon - hoped to see Dev waving but alas no! - then even watched a bit of the grand prix. Did do 3 lots of laundry and got it hung out before Hubby came home from karate and we did some gardening together - well I say we........thats more of the royal we, he did, I supervised and bloody well too ;) Finished around 1pm and I made bacon sarnies for lunch, extra crispy and way too much butter but yummmmmmmmmm. Then realised we had nothing in for dinner (we shop daily because I cant stand the pressure of deciding a whole weeks menu in one shop - plus it makes me walk each day to the shops) so off we go to Tesco's at 2.30pm....bumped into friends we made when our boys very first started karate.....next thing we know they are turning the lights off in the shop and announcing the store will be closing in 10mins. We then joined the trolley grand prix to finish shopping LOL Tony is out cutting the front grass while I have far more important things to do - THIS (haha). Hopefully going to print some leaflets out to advertise hubby and friends new karate club they are starting and maybe do some leafleting this evening if the weather permits. Tonight we are having meat fondue - hot stock and we cook chicken, pork and steak in it.....with potatoes, fresh bread and lots of dips. Can't wait, love it when the family help "cook" the dinner! Todays quote : Life may not to be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance!

Glad to hear you're feeling better.  I watched the marathon as well but Dev wasn't waving enough, because I couldn't see her either...lol

I then had a bath, popped (and I mean popped) to the supermarket, came home and put the Bucket List on to watch and promptly fell asleep - just woken up and there's dinner to cook.  (Only realised I had been asleep so long when I saw Whoopi Goldberg on the TV and thought 'is she in the Bucket List?' then realised we were almost at the end of Sister Act)

Have shoved the chicken in the oven and sat back down, I am on here, writing this to stop myself falling asleep again - after all I've been awake all of 6 hours, 3 of those I was still in bed!

I hope I get up on time tomorrow, got the Doctors at 10am and don't want them thinking I've popped my clogs and removing me from the their list by lunchtime.

I'm exhausted now so just gonna grab 40 winks before dinner....
