Evening all,
Well after the beautiful weekend, I was actually sorry to see my hubby go off to work and then the kids off to school. Not saying the peace and quiet wasn't equally lovely.
I would like to know how both my sons 'found' PE tops in their school bags the day they go back to school AFTER a week off??!!?? Did some laundry, sorted through my photos from Sunday (realised how much I look like my Mum now) and put some on facebook.
Had a cuppa tea and some toast for lunch and walked to meet Jack at the dentist, he needs four teeth extracted before his braces can be fitted....today it was top and bottom on the left side. Jack is petrified of needles and was a very brave boy LOL The dentist asked him if he wanted to keep the teeth, yes please - euuuuuuuuuuuuk I hate teeth me! Anyway she put them in a pretty little tooth fairy envelope. I explain to him as we walk to Tesco's that due to todays economic climate, the tooth fairy only visits the under 10 year olds ;) He just grunts the 15yo boy grunt LOL Grab some groceries and head home.
Tonight I end up cooking Jack macaroni cheese with wholegrain mustard, Sean and Lara have salmon fillets with rice and green beans........Tony and I have chicken stir fried in garlic butter with baby leaf and rocket salad, caesar salad dressing, tiny croutons and some delicious mediterranean bread. Geez should just open up a cafe, might at least get tips! Got the washing up done straight away and finished off with a Del Monte 100% Juice Ice Lolly.
Popped into chat for a bit, no one offered to get my laundry in so............back out in the garden and start taking it in. Hubby comes out and asks if I fancy taking the dog for a walk with him.........OK.......(well I didn't but couldn't tell him that LOL). Actually once I got out there, it wasn't that bad, the sun had just started to set and it was warm enough not to beed a jacket.
Back now.......sitting down and really DONT wanna get up again!!!!!!!
Bet you are all jealous of the jetset lifestyle I lead eh......yeah yeah I know you are!!!!!!

i particularly like to see what you have had for tea! wow you have some serious meals!! you must really enjoy cooking?
me-im a microwave meal for one person-hate anything to do with the kitchen, im of the opinion if you can buy it already done why bother cooking it lol!
