Debs Daily Deliberations - 4

1 minute read time.
Morning Pop Pickers!!!!!!!! Day 20's worth of zapping to the head........DONE! Today I was zapped by the 'caffeine induced stupor' team who are way better than the 'no sense of humour' team. Both the ladies were full on latte and had me cracking up (bloody hard to do in your mask too). I was right there with them, cos today is a happy day - ITS WASH DAY - no not the Victorian tub, scrubbing brush and soap type.........just me getting up close and personal with Johnson's Baby Shampoo (more product placement vouchers) for whats left of me hair's weekly wash. I have finally remembered to pick up my meds (well hubby did drop me off right outside the chemist) - now gotta learn to take them twice a day!! Then I have done the grocery shop at Tesco's, having chicken & chorizo in tomatoes with couscous - spanish meets moroccan tonight and even bought food for tomorrow - greek style wraps. Well chuffed with myself. Its a tad hazy outside, but I have asked Mr Golden Sun very nicely to come out and play - so I am sure he will oblige. Slight headache today, probably all that decision making in Tesco's LOL I am actually going to pop a couple of paracetamol and fingers crossed its a one off, cos I no wanna go on steroids!!!!!!!!!! I think its time the world enjoyed me in chat......... Toodles xxx

  • Hi Debs,

I think radiographers have any sense of humour surgically removed before they are allowed to qualify. I had 25 sessions and all they ever did was ask me for my date of birth. I was all smiles and chat but the whole lot of them had uniform hatchet faces and no way were they going to crack a smile. I was quite sore and had trouble lifting myself up off the table but there was only one who didn't leave me there like a beached whale. I think it might have made a good funny video for "You've been framed".

Keep blogging - your sense of humour shines!

    Kate,

You are soooo right, I try to be bright and cheery but the only ones with any sense of humour are the guys who come and get me from the waiting room to the next waiting room for each machine.

I joked the other day that as they all know my birthday, I like Irises.............they all looked at me with the most blank expression.

    Earth to radiotherapy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
