Evening All,
Today we have been mostly calm.....no garden carnage.......no parcel excitement......just life Jim but not as we know it ;)
Had a bit of a headache today.......has taken 4 paracetamol to tame the beastie.....its a dull roar this evening.
Caught up with my laundry after having the parental visit yesterday and went to Tesco's, made dinner of Chinese stirfry - pak choi, baby leeks, baby corn, peppers, sweetcorn, carrot, beansprouts and egg noodles in a hoisin and spring onion sauce with rice and prawn crackers.
Learnt today that I passed my NVQ Level 3 - Diploma in Pre-school Practise. Now I am really happy to be finally qualified but slightly peeved that I got an E for my final assignment - tutor said it started really well but seemed to "run out of steam" - funny that it coincided with my tumour turmoil. The bummer of it is, I have got B's in the first two modules but this E will bring my overall grade down to a D......a D!!!!!!!!!! I have worked so hard at this to have to be happy with scraping through......I do have two weeks to resubmit my final assignment and try to bump my score up but ya know what - I can't be bloody asked LOL
My employer will be pleased anyway that I have gotten through and she can get the council off her back over the funding! Oh the best bit - being fully qualified means I get a payrise.....a whole 20 pence an hour......not bad I hear you say.....yeah well I work 3 hours a day, so thats 60p a day.....over 5 days, even me with my unmathmatical brain can work out that it aint much. Should get me a couple of extra loaves of bread each week - enough to keep me kids in sarnies then ;)
Its a glorious evening here.........just back from karate and hubby gone out to a meeting with the club, I am just about to wander round to my sister who lives round the corner for a cup of tea and keep her happy - oh what a jetset life I lead LOL Shouldn't moan its nice to be popular and at least I don't have to pay people to keep me company ;)
