Debs Daily Deliberations - 35

2 minute read time.
Evening All, Its the time of the month where the kids need full body armour and Tony.........well, his lightning quick reactions certainly help - hence he has gone karate training till gone 10pm tonight, wonder if thats his way of avoiding my moods LOL Not much of an exciting day, went to Tesco's, did laundry, washed up, cooked, washed up AGAIN and generally tidied up as my parents are coming to visit tomorrow. What can I tell you about my parents - love em both dearly but am closer to my Dad which is stange as he isn't my biological father, my Mum remarried when I was 6 years old and this gentle guy took on three girls, one of which was disabled and within months had gone through the legal system to adopt us so that we all had the same surname. This is the man who walked me down the aisle for my wedding. I have only seen my 'bio' father once in the last 36 years and that was at my grandfathers funeral - which was enough for me! My mother drives me insane (but she means well) and their constant bickering (they dont agree on anything LOL) is funny for the first couple of hours :S Wonder how many people have died or gotten ill since I last spoke to Mum on the phone - anyway she is SURE to tell me!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and I have an awful feeling that since she has been "researching sites" for hats/scarves for baldy folks like me, she will turn up with 'something' that I will have to wear to make her feel good and it will be a monstrosity of the likes never before seen on these shores LOL So thats my day tomorrow, making endless cups of tea and coffee.......Dad will have a cheese sarnie and Mum will have ham - creatures of habit that they are! Dinner will be takeout as I can not cook Dad the toad in the hole he always asks me to do and Dad is very much a meat, potato and 2 veg kinda guy so that rules out Chinese, Indian or Pizza.....so guess it will be fish and chips tomorrow LOL Tune in to see if I survive the visit - I tell you brain surgery and radiotherapy has nothing on my parents LMAO Thought for today: “I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it.” Rosalia de Castro
