Debs Daily Deliberations - 3

1 minute read time.
Afternooners, I have just completed day 19 of RT - 15 more to go and the staff are finally starting to get my sense of humour - hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I woke with the right piggin' hump today.......hmmmmm why was that, the sun was shining we had a lovely meal out for my sons birthday the night before, we even managed to get him the computer he wanted so all was very well in the Perry house. Ah yes, I remember........today is the day I have to wait to see the oncologist after RT. Well today the registrar came and got me after only 30 mins......oh my goodness I could have kissed him seriously, but then I saw he had a panic button under his desk and thought better of it LOL He asked me the standard questions, how are you, any headaches, any discharge from the ears (wtf!!!), nausea, sickness......eating problems (he wasn't looking close enough at my stomach before asking that LOL). After I said no to everything I said "doing well aren't I", he laughed.......very nervously mind and said "yes". He really IS scared of me (remember that old Snap record......"I got the power" - thats how I feel LOL), he also checked my blood test results and told me they were perfect!!!!!! We left early and Tony dropped me in Epping where I met Jack for his orthodontist appointment (my sister took him) and got conned into buying him a subway!!!!!!! Sharon (settle down non-essex readers) and then we became "ladies wot lunch" and went to Costa Coffee (do we get vouchers for product placement) and had a latte and pannini. It was so hot I thought my hat might start steaming or the aqueous cream would melt and run down my face - wizard of oz "I'm melting" style!!!! - another witch connection, thats twice - too freaky! Am now home and hatless and after the initial shock of no cable tv or internet (thought bugger, have I not paid the bill and been cut off!) daughter came home and said they are working on the cable box around the corner...............everything is as it should be. Thats me done for today I think....may wander into chat and grace them with my presence ;) Toodles,

    Hi Debs

Reading your blog saves me having to write anything as it makes me laugh so much.  Daughter and I had Costa Coffee lunch as well today (costa packet, I call it!).  Then informs me she is out tonight and NEEDS something to wear - what happened to hard up students?

Anyway, just got home exhausted and only got out of bed at midday today, notice 30 minutes earlier than yesterday so I'm improving.

    Hope to chat soon

    Judith

Steve, would you expect anything less - and besides I think that registrar would rather poo his pants than give me bad news LMAO

I do behave with me 'din dins' although still a get little too much down my front for a 41 yo, maybe I should slow down and start using cutlery ;)
