Debs Daily Deliberations - 23

1 minute read time.
Well.....no Romford today......was still in my dressing gown at 10am and it was good to see the kids all go off to school this morning. But then I kinda felt like a spare part!!!!!! Got two letters from the DLA today when I got back from grocery shopping, one to say they had received my claim and another to say they couldn't make a decision until they receive a report back from my consultant - the same consultant I left without seeing last week because she was late and the same one we saw nipping in 10.20am and grabbing a coffee BEFORE clinic that starts at 10am...the same one who claims she is in a meeting in the hospital!!!!!!!! Nuff said. Oh a little bit of good news though, my husband has been wanting to open his own karate club for some time. Last year before I got ill I bought him a web domain and created a website for him, one of the things I really wanted to see done in my lifetime was for him to get this dream off the ground. Well a few weeks ago Tony and his friend Paul found a location to base their club and I designed some leaflets. Slowly we have been out and about posting them, today Tony received two calls from parents who wanted their children to start. I know its only a couple of students but from little acorns and such. Had a good chat with my boss yesterday, she is more than happy to keep my job open for me until I am fit and well enough to return. Which is great, because I love my job, but of course my SSP will run out long before I am fit and well enough (if I ever am fit enough to look after children again). So thats my day.........so far..............off to karate tonight (to watch of course) and schmooze with the new perspective parents! Ha to think my hubby trusts me with that job LOL Thought for the day: It is better to err on the side of daring than the side of caution. Alvin Toffler
