Hello remember me???? Well Christmas has been and gone and we have had a pretty good time.
I am writing this because we were surprised by some friends with stall seats to see We Will Rock You and a cab from our door to the theatre and back after again. All in all this must have cost them in excess of £200 and whilst I know I am special (in every sense) its nice to have been thought worthy of such a gift.
We were picked up at 5.30pm and dropped off right outside the Dominion at Tottenham Court Road (which I haven't been too since seeing Depeche Mode lol) and walked straight in, had around a 10-15mins wait and we grabbed a bottle of water - sheesh £2.50 should have expected a shot of booze in it for that! Went in and found our seats, 24 rows from the stage and a pretty good view. We were probably two of about half a dozen Brits amongst all Germans and a few French watching.
I am sure a few of you have seen the show but I tapped my feet and clapped until my hands were red raw and sang to my hearts content. It was spectacular and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I didn't want it to end.
After we walked outside and our cab was there within 10 minutes to take us home. We didn't get back till gone midnight and I was totally cream crackered but it was a good way to be exhausted.
I didn't get up till after 9am this morning (very late for me) and Tony and I were still buzzing from our night out in "town". I have had a sore throat all day but I would do the same again !!!!
