Debs Daily Deliberations 228 - Theatre Special

1 minute read time.

Hello remember me???? Well Christmas has been and gone and we have had a pretty good time.

I am writing this because we were surprised by some friends with stall seats to see We Will Rock You and a cab from our door to the theatre and back after again.  All in all this must have cost them in excess of £200 and whilst I know I am special (in every sense)  its nice to have been thought worthy of such a gift.

We were picked up at 5.30pm and dropped off right outside the Dominion at Tottenham Court Road (which I haven't been too since seeing Depeche Mode lol) and walked straight in, had around a 10-15mins wait and we grabbed a bottle of water - sheesh £2.50 should have expected a shot of booze in it for that!  Went in and found our seats, 24 rows from the stage and a pretty good view.  We were probably two of about half a dozen Brits amongst all Germans and a few French watching.

I am sure a few of you have seen the show but I tapped my feet and clapped until my hands were red raw and sang to my hearts content.  It was spectacular and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I didn't want it to end.

After we walked outside and our cab was there within 10 minutes to take us home.  We didn't get back till gone midnight and I was totally cream crackered but it was a good way to be exhausted.

I didn't get up till after 9am this morning (very late for me) and Tony and I were still buzzing from our night out in "town".  I have had a sore throat all day but I would do the same again !!!!

    Hi Debs,

I know exactly what you mean about" whilst I know I am special (in every sense)  its nice to have been thought worthy of such a gift."  Recently, I was gifted an enormous food basket and my dear friend and I both knew he didn't have to, as well as that he wanted to.  Made me feel very special indeed.

Thanks for sharing and so glad to see you again!  May 2010 be a better year for all of us!

    Love and hugs,

    Rachel
