Saturday and I was looking forward to waking at my leisure and not the 7am alarm thats set on my mobile phone. My little sister Diane thought it was a good idea to text me at 6.50am and I hadn't put my phone on silent......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Got up and started the washing and made hubby a cup of coffee. Organised the kids some gi bottoms and karate t-shirts for the fitness class and sat at the computer while Tony made me a bacon and egg sarnie. Hung the washing out, sorted my camera out, made everyone a drink to take to karate and made myself a cuppa tea in my Sweden thermos mug.
The new polymetric/fitness class went well with around 6 children attending (some have other commitments understandably) and the smiles on their faces said it all. I had printed out some award certificates for Tony & Paul to hand out and everyone went home with a certificate for something they had done well during the morning and probably the best bit for them......there were sweets LOL
Tony put the new £2.50 spotlights up in Lara's bedroom and cleared away while I did a few jobs around the house and it was time to order dinner. Kebabs from a local Turkish place, chicken shish in their lovely Turkish bread, salad and some of their garlic mayo....a bottle of beer with a slice of lime in it and I was ready for X Factor. Ollie Murs was fabulous, well of course he was, he is an Essex Boy and good old Dagenham Diva Stacey (oh my god I couldn 'ardly breave) didn't disappoint either........OK OK I am biased but no one else really stood out, it was a pants show all round and the Twit Twins.......not gonna waste blog space or time on them! Finished off the evening watching Criminal Intent and off to the land of nod and I actually only woke once through the night - wohooooooooooooooooo thats what I call success. Guess I need to drink more beer LOL
Note I still haven't gone near the cooker
