Wednesday and no Buttercup! It's taken a LOT longer than any other cycle to send her packing this time. Still it was surely going to be a good day, got the kids off to school un-scarred and enjoyed a cuppa tea and some toast for breakfast. Did the usual, washing, washing up and general tidy up about the place. My parcel has still not arrived, will have to phone and complain - its nothing exciting an embroidered blackbelt for hubby's club partners 50th Birthday and two gi's (suits). The company are great but very bad at getting stuff out when promised.....have to chase and chase!
Finished off the smoked salmon for lunch in a bagel with cream cheese and then did my walk to Tesco's, walking off the food. Got all the bits n bobs needed for dinner of Pan Fried Fillet of Lamb with red onion, garlic and red wine ju, cauliflower cheese, broccoli and tiny roast potato's - grabbed a sachet of oxo lamb & mint gravey for the kids.
Oh and almost forgot, had one bugger of a time getting onto this site yesterday....first it was very very slow and then I could only access all the sections EXCEPT the What's New page??? Glad to see its working again today! So I had a little nosey around FB and found Bejewelled had been given a makeover and by chance managed a score of 246,300 wohooooooooooo not quite making up for getting my butt whooped at scrabble at the moment but heyho can't win everything eh!
Kids came home from school and Tony was in just after 4pm from work with a coffee waiting for him...I am getting good at this housewife stuff. We sit around and chat over our drinks before I cook dinner....it was received very well by the masses, which is always good to see. Time to slouch in front of the TV for a few hours with my family. Watched Journeyman and headed off to bed just after 10pm.

Courage is not the towering oak that sees storms come and go; it is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow.
