Debs Daily Deliberations 154

2 minute read time.
Sunday is the day of rest and after all that bloody walking yesterday.....I was planning on taking it very easy today. I woke early as Tony left at 6am for a karate training session in Ilford with his club partner and then they were having a meeting with an Association they are thinking of joining. I drifted back off, cuddled with up with the two dogs and finally got up just after 8.30am. Legs were a little stiff and the old hips nagged a tad but otherwise I felt good. There was nothing in the house as the plague of locusts had swept through yesterday - otherwise known as Jack and Sean.....so off I go to Tesco's. Our next door neighbours had cut our front lawn and trimmed our hedges for us whilst we were out Saturday and I wanted to get them a nice bottle of wine to say thanks. Just left Tesco's for home and Tony phones me (not too happy I had walked) and told me to stay put he was picking me up!!!!! I had got some bits n bobs and had enough to make the Red Chicken that went down so well last week.....but no as we hadn't spent as much money in London as Tony thought we might, we would have a chinese takeout tonight.....who am I to argue, after all I did promise to obey at our wedding LOL Lara took the wine next door and came back to say they said thanks but as she was leaving she overhead Elaine telling Paul "they are silly people for buying us this"......yep thats us the crazies at No. 26. The rest of the day was a slow relaxing one, made some ham rolls and cornbeef rolls for lunch and then lazed around on the sofa/computer then sofa again. We really want to take the kids on holiday - by that I mean abroad - next year, so I have started looking at villa's around the Moraira area of Spain. We almost booked for this year but something made us put it off, just as well cos looked what happened!!!!!! Lara had made some choccy chip cookies in the afternoon which went down rather nicely with a cuppa tea. Most strenuous thing I did was have to choose what to order for dinner ;) It arrived and was eaten with the usual accompaniament of children bickering and trying to point score......I looked at Tony over the table and knew he was thinking the same.......we want to take them on holiday.....maybe arguing abroad will seem different somehow LOL I settled down on the sofa to watch Last Chance To See with Stephen Fry..... QI is a favourite with the whole family and I am big Kingdom fan too! A nice relaxing bath, another cuppa tea and I was ready for bed.....its been a fab weekend and here's to many more of those thank you very much. Thought for yesterday: Family is just accident.... They don't mean to get on your nerves. They don't even mean to be your family, they just are. Marsha Norman

We've been to Moraira twice and we never repeat holidays so it must have been good.  Both times I booked a villa, first time through a company who arranged everything and the second time I booked direct - this was our last holiday as we went the day after diagnosis.  Moraira is lovely and if you get a villa with a pool, everyone will be happy!

    Love
