So the first full week of school for the kids and my first full week of being "retired" at 42 years old........hmmmmmmmmmmm
Woke to my alarm at 7am, uniforms were done and sorted on Saturday so no worries there, organised 3 packed lunches and one lot of PE kit and finally by 8.15am the house was mine and mine alone - bar the dogs. The walk over the park the day before had taken it out of me....so I settled on the sofa with the remote control and got comfy for another Greys Anatomy fest. Finished part one of the finale to find that part two was shown later the same night and my Virgin + box had not recorded it - PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to see the second one and I need to see it NOW!
So back onto the internet to see if I could watch it online, took me forever to find a link to it and I end up watching it on a 2 x3" screen, not what I had planned but at least I saw it - Marsha, GEORGE O'MALLY omg NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I hear the new series is premiering in the USA on Sept 24th, hope it gets here soon after.
So that done I tackle the washing up from the roast dinner that was festering in my kitchen, vacuum the lounge as Ollie has been shredding a rope toy all over the place and when he wasn't looking - I threw it away, but thats between us OK don't tell him ;)
Before I know it, the kids are home from school and the bickering begins......awwww family life, gotta love it :| They have pizza for dinner and when Tony gets home from work (more overtime yaaaaaaay) we have pitta bread with salad and haloumi cheese before popping to Tesco's to buy a few things we needed.
I remember watching a bit of TV, but for the life of me I can't remember what, so couldn't have been very good or memorable and was ready for bed at 10pm. At this moment Tony pours a concoction of drain cleaners down the sink, downstairs wc basin, upstairs basin and bath....why can't they make it smell nice????
Hope Jill (TLA) is ok, not seen her around for a few days and everyone starting treatment, waiting for results, going in for ops or recovering from them (and caring for them) hope it goes well.

At least I didn't spoil it completely for you, I'd forgotten about George!!! There's a lot of theories and supposition on the web, with the show losing two of it's biggest stars.. dream sequence a la Dallas being one of them!
Toby has just shredded an old leather boot over our entire downstairs, I hope he hasn't got a taste for it... I worry about leaving him with Hannah and the new settees!

As for GA.....I am obsessed, it was almost as bad as being told I had a brain tumour when I found it hadn't recorded the vital part .....I did look on ABC's website but they give nuffink away. Izzy I can live without but George, he's just so lovable bless him. I guess people have to leave for new faces and personalities to come in and I will grow to love them too, maybe lol. Miranda is my favourite person, wonder if its cos she is little LOL
Comes as a bit of a shock but don't knock it - just change your raison d'etre. I got it at 45 - OK so having to finish is traumatic and the money gets tighter but I have more than enough to fill my days. If your drain cleaner hasn't worked get Tony to get some caustic soda crystals - I use it a lot in my drains - but be careful how you use it - it is very powerful but it will scour out most residues. Plumbers use it in public urinals to dissolve build up in the pipes.
on a cancer site you get the best information about constipation and blocked drains (a common thread here lol).
We have free flowing effluent again........the blockage has way past our house under the road somewhere apparently!!!! We are just the unlucky ones to have the drain in our front garden!!!! Seems I get all the shitty stuff LOL
