Debs Daily Deliberations 133

2 minute read time.
Evening all my bag lady and gentlemen friends (temporary or permanent) & canulated persons ;) I have done all the chemo buddies, PICC's, PEGS & Ports as I was reminded - am I leaving any groups out??? If so its completely unintentional and remember as a brain tumour patient I have the memory of a goldfish !!!! Two blogs in one day but we are leaving early tomorrow for the "parental visit".......I love my parents, dont get me wrong but.....I am sure a few of you know what I mean without me typing a word. I get on much better with my Dad than my Mum and in our family its definately a case of nurture over nature as my Mum remarried when I was 6 and he adopted all 3 kids and we all got to change our surname and even though I was born in 1967 my birth certificate is dated 1973 ......no they hadn't hidden me in drawer or something LOL Peter my legal father was the one who walked me down the aisle at my wedding and held me crying over the miscarriage of my first baby. I love him unconditionally. So in my roundabout way I am trying to tell you that I will no doubt be utterly cream crackered on our return.....mostly from biting my lip. Back to today, up at leisure and purely for medicinal purposes hubby and I had sausage sarnies (he with brown sauce, me with ketchup) just so that I could take my steroid ;) We then set off later to Van Hagues a fabby garden centre in Great Amwell, rather pricey but has a lovely coffee shop and pets corner. We look Lara with us and she enjoyed feeding the African Pygmy Goats. We stopped for refreshments, Lara having a current bun and bottle of coke, me with a cream tea and Tony having a Belgian Bun and coffee. We bought 3 new grasses for my grasslands border and headed home via Tesco's. We had raclette tonight - I think I have described this meal before - its Swiss and like having an indoor bbq where everyone cooks their own dinner - great!!!!!!! Couldn't get raclette cheese as Tesco's have stopped doing it again, so made do with Gruyere. Oh I have tell you this.....my eldest had his first shave today........not exciting for you lot but another milestone that I witnessed!!!!!! Mind you if I don't get off the steroids soon, I might shaving along side him ;) After dinner, I laid out the grasses and Tony did the donkey work - as usual ;) Just out of a lovely bubble bath and having a bottle of Bud and going to watch some TV before an early night. Don't miss me too much tomorrow. Thought for today: To become a father is not difficult, but to be a father is. Unknown
