Debs Daily Deliberations 132

3 minute read time.
Well hello PICC & PEG liners (I am trying to include everyone). Friday morning and what a way to start the day.......woke around 8am (not bad) got up and pulled on my bathrobe.....looked over to where Ollie was laying on the bed and there was a decent size pile of puke - stones, grass, hair etc......thankfully it was on Tony's side of the bed lol. So I start the day stripping off the bedding and loading the washing machine. Let the "boys" into the garden and Ollie being so young doesn't lift his leg yet, he just stands and wee's.......however Dexter has taken to "marking" over the top..........not a problem unless he doesn't wait for Ollie to finish and promptly pee's all over him. So by 8.10am I am rubbing Ollie down with Johnson's baby wipes as I am just not up to bathing him - he hates that with a passion........so this is the easy way out...........HELLO FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh but the sun was shining so its not all bad. Do the usual, checkout facebook, emails and come on here to read some blogs and update my own. I am naughty today and have a nutritious breakfast of a cuppa tea and BISCUITS.......to take my steroid with....yum Jammie Dodgers and Steroids the best start to the day ;) I decide to phone the Working Tax Credit people and inform them I am no longer employed....I only earnt just over £4,300 a year but who knows it might give us an extra 10p a week and I'd rather the 10p was in my pocket than theirs. Makes it very final....telling people you are not working and I don't think I have fully accepted that. So onto my real job shopping at Tesco's off I go with my "green" bags having decided we will be having a curry tonight. Again I am met by the technical difficulties sign so my audience once again the part of chicken will be played by turkey (don't worry our favourite ingredient will return soon - I hope) bump into a few people I know, have a little chat and remember to buy Sean his pot of Spicey Chicken Pasta - which he takes out with him for lunch each day, grab Jack some Sushi and home I go (forgetting laundry powder today - always something!). Lara is downstairs when I get back and Jack is in the bath, Lara waits her turn impatiently as she wants to go round Joe's (the fisherman boyfriend)......I get to blowdry her new hairdo (not with that brush mum use this one, it doesn't hurt - well whats the fun in that then!) and peace is restored........just me and the dogs (and Jack safely entombed in his bedroom although he pops down and makes me lots of cups of tea today). Tony home and dinner is made early due to karate.......turkey curry for 4 of us and Lara has sweet n sour turkey almost the same dinner!!!!! Jack and Tony head off.......only to return 15mins later after a huge bust up with the chief instructor over Tony and Paul's new club......ackkkkkkkk I am beginning to think karate is the root of all evil. Paul arrives a short while after and the men sit in the garden with a cuppa coffee and plan the future of the club. Tony is pee'd off to say the least so we take the dogs for a long walk and he is in a much better mood when we get back. We watch a little tv and I catch up on a few scrabble games on FB I have going.....Leigh is beating me and so is Purdybru.......gonna have to start cheating lol My sincere condolences to Tweety for her loss yesterday. Saturday and no sick, no wee'd over dogs and the sun is shining, woke to being cuddled by hubby.......the day is all good...........SO FAR ;) Thought for yesterday: Dogs laugh, but they laugh with their tails. What puts man in a higher state of evolution is that he has got his laugh on the right end. Max Eastman

    Yuk!

    Moving swiftly on...

Shame about the karate bust-up. Our karate club had a similar bust-up a couple of years which could have been totally avoided if the powers that be (who hardly ever took training anyway) hadn't been so bloody macho about it - we defected with the ones who actuallu did all the work and the new club is thriving. Hope it gets sorted. On my own for dinner tonight (boys gigging in Midlesbrough) and I'm having curry too.

    hope you're having agood day

  • Sorry serious readers but the tone of our comments does sometimes descend to the frivolous... my puppy (in my picture and now a hulking great grown-up dog) at the age of ten weeks decided to cock his leg but used to alternate - left back leg pee, turn around right back leg - pee - I was half expecting him to do a handstand!

    Keep 'em coming Debs!
