Debs Daily Deliberations 130

3 minute read time.
Morning pill poppers!!! (said in my best Fluff Freeman impersonation - which is pretty bad) I got my wish, yesterday was UNEVENTFUL....phewww! I text Tony and asked if he felt like visiting my parents on Sunday, he text back "was gonna suggest the same thing".....oh we really a pair eh. But he wants to leave around 7am and grab breakfast on the way (not so good but hey gotta meet him halfway eh lol). Text my Mum and asked if it was safe to visit.......yep came the reply, how many are we catering for - 5 + 2 dogs. Waited forever for the kids to get up and then found out they were all awake and on their laptops in bed..grrrrrrr so I stomped off to Tesco's, Jack had asked for Taco's for dinner......bought said ingrediants plus some chicken to grill for Lara and I (she doesn't like mince and I am cutting down on redmeat). Got home and about half hour later the phone rings at which point Lara shouts down "Nan called when you were out, she said if you text her when you are home, she will ring you"......thanks Lara.........Mum guessed I was back and the message hadn't been passed on and would roast lamb with garden grown runner beans and all the trimmings be ok..lemme think....YES lol. Said she will check the tide times and get back to me - I want to take the kids to the beach while we are there. Had done so much housework the day before (well a lot for me, always been a crap housewife) that there wasn't much else to do except dust and I hate dusting so figured I would leave the "protective layer" on things for a bit longer ;) It was so gorgeous outside that I made my lunch and sat in the garden to eat it. Lara came home mid-afternoon and begged for the paddling pool to come out......its not actually a paddling pool, its an inflatable dinghy....she ruined the fab pool we had last year by turning it upside down and using it as a trampoline - my goodness it sounded like bomb went off when it burst!!!! So of course when we went to buy another it was late summer and all the shops had sold out. Hubby decided that an inflatable boat would do and it does. She drags the boat, pump and watering hose out of the shed and gets on with it. Of course you know whats coming next.....its too cold, can I have some hot water.......nope, just leave it for a bit in the sun and it will warm up (oh how I remember my Mum saying the same to me lol, it never bloody did warm up tho). Anyway Lara and Ollie (who hates the bath) had fun, Ollie kept trying to lean in and drink and fell in a couple of times - better than tv that was!!!!! Dinner time and it was just Lara, Sean and moi.....Jack was out with friends and Tony was at karate (again!) so we head outside to eat our tacos - I really don't like them too much, prefer to substitute for wraps, easier to eat and not so dry - a little crunching later we had finished and the kids were fighting over which ice-pop to have for dessert (oh I know how to treat them eh LOL). Jack came home followed closely by Tony and they just had to reheat the chilli beef, which they sat on the sofa's eating....lazy sods!!! Tony and I retired to the garden for a glass of Pinot Noir - thats the second glass this week! and settled down to watch some TV...Who Do You Think You Are......poor old Martin Freeman, finding out his ancestors all had syphilis and were blind - too scared to research mine now LMAO Hope Jills doing well in hospital, really hoping Leigh's results were good and anyone else that needs a bit of my luck (shite as it is usually lol) is welcome to it. Thought for yesterday: Of course I believe in luck. How otherwise to explain the success of some people you detest? Jean Cockteau

Sounds like you live your life at 100 mph, What do you do to relax ??? White water rafting, sky diving, mountain climbing ??? You must flash round Tesco's in a whirl, scaring pensioners to death and scattering people in all directions Lol. The staff must say "oh its only HER again" whilst taking refuge behind shelves or hiding in the toilets. You do more in a day than me, a mere male, can do in a week. I cant even remember what to buy for my own lunch, never mind anybody elses.

What medication are you on ???? Could you spare a bit ??? Lol

    Big Hugs, Love Bill xxx
