Debs Daily Deliberations 129

2 minute read time.
Good mid-morning readers Firstly, this is my second attempt at doing my blog - the first was eaten by the internet moofies......guess they were having a late breakfast. If this one isn't very good, well trust me, the first was amazing ;) Yesterday was blighted by the "missing Iranian vegetable" saga and caused me much distress and plenty of you much amusement it would seem - call yourself friends - hmpfffffffffffffffffff The instructor finally emailed around 4pm ish - my stomach churned and I actually turned away from the screen everytime I loaded Outlook Express. He said not to worry it was only some frozen veg - with some gold and diamonds inside - ha ha I hope he was joking!! I took Lara to have her haircut, it was midway down her back, very long and she is not good at brushing it and hates me doing it (can't think why!!) so its now touching her shoulders and feathered around the front - much more grown up and ready for secondary school. She came shopping in Tesco's with me and bounced her way home - you know trying to "flounce" her hair all the way LOL I needed crap food yesterday, so we had Chicken Kiev and chips..........I don't really do chips but they were the oven kind, so not so bad or at least thats what I am telling myself, today I think it better be chicken salad. We ate outside again, everyday since Saturday - the most ever since we moved here 15 years ago! I love eating outside, makes me feel like I am on holiday! Talking of holidays - think the tent idea might have been shelved....I am hoping to talk Tony into visiting my parents on Sunday if its nice, they live at Walton on Naze (gods waiting room) but the beach is great and the two youngest love looking for shells and digging and maybe even splashing in the surf - we could leave the dogs and Jack at bungalow - my parents have wireless internet that will keep Jack happy on his iPod Touch, PSP or Netbook!! Besides, we would get a fabulous free Sunday Roast thrown in.......there's me always thinking of my stomach and unfortunately there's a lot to think about there!!!!!!! Today will be spent nagging Jack into doing some Science GSCE coursework, he is on target for an A......surely in the words of "Beatie" off the adverts "you got an ology you are a scientist" lol. He is too laid back, yeah yeah I'll do some tomorrow - I know it will end up the day before they go back to school!!!!! Its 10.30am and still waiting for one of my kids to rise so I can do my daily exercise to Tesco's.....they better be ready for me today - I am wearing shorts - not a good look with my white dumpy legs but hey.....its summer! I played Leigh at Scrabble today, close game! So today.......is going to be - UNEVENTFUL - please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a good one yourselves What Nowers, those waiting for results - hope they are good, those going for treatment - good luck and the rest of you just have a fabulous day. Thought for yesterday: Happiness is having a large, loving, caring, close-knit family in another city. George Burns

Glad he wasn't toooo attached to his veg, lol! I was planning to get my two working a bit over the summer just to keep things ticking over an thinking it'll make life easier with my next round of treatment - but parties, camping, festivals and the fact that it's their first summer with a car have made me give it up til September - but they will get back into it. OH tries to crack the whip occasionally but to be honest I want them to go out and have fun :)

I've spent the morning reading your blog - so many similarities, haha. You can keep the the dog messes though!

    Enjoy the sun

Walton on the naze,oh the memories! Mainly the one where i am on the beach with my mum and twin brothers having a lovely time. Mum decides that we need feeding and takes out of her bag a neatly made up tin foil package of Dunstable donuts, yum yum!Quick as you like a beautiful golden retriever dog grabs the tin foil package and takes off down the beach with my twin brothers chasing after it.Me and mum were rolling round with laughter watching this funny sight. The twins came back a while later with an empty foil package moaning that the dog had eaten all of the donuts and that they were starving after all that running!...lol

    Those were the days :o)

Think i might have to do a return visit.

Hope you have a nice day with your family in W.O.T.N  Debs

    Love Diane
