Debs Daily Deliberations 112

2 minute read time.
Evening fellow What Nowers, Hubby has had to start work early (by 6am) this week because he can't work late - he's a printer and they have an important job for an important customer that just can't wait - can they ever???? so....... with Tony getting up early (5am)and our creaky stairs, guess who's up with the larks too, yep Ollie and when Ollie wakes so do all the other toys - no hang on thats Bagpuss......its just me thats it, me and Ollie! So by 5.15am I am drinking my first cuppa tea and emptying the washing machine - what little hair I have is ruffled, bathrobe untidily tied........one wet slipper where Ollie keeps pinching it and running off and chewing it......grab my hat, which happens to be black and doesn't match my white bathrobe but what the heck, if any of my neighbours are up early enough to catch me outside at that hour with unmatching hat and bathrobe - so be it!!!! and head out to the garden to hang the washing up and clear up Ollie & Dexter's early morning "presents". Bet you are all so jealous huh LOL Lara is going to the Henry Moore Foundation today as part of her summer school, Lara really enjoys art and sculpture so I know she will enjoy this. Now I am really worried cos when my lazy a$$ed sons finally get up around 10am they announce they are going shopping in town............TOGETHER, yes folks my two boys who spend all day firing insults at each other are going out together! Now will Jack bring Sean back.....time will tell. They spend about 4 hours up there, long enough to go halves on a pizza, wander round the shops buy some pens and stuff for school and then split a bag of chips while waiting for the bus home - real progress I'd call that! Sister Double-Barrel Surname phones me to remind me that the oncology department shuts at 5pm on a Friday so if we arrive any later to pick up my presciption ticket......I'll be out of luck. I assure her that barring a freak weather front (you know it will happen now!) or an accident blocking the roads we should be ok. Now I will fret just in case LOL Put our cream throws back onto the sofa's, they are leather and Ollie isn't quite big enough to get up but Dexter can, which in turns drives Ollie nuts and he "scrabbles" at the sofa with his needle sharp claws.......so trying to spare the furniture the winter throws have gone on early. Cooked Chicken Pancetta Parmasan Pan Pasta for dinner - one meal for all five us.....makes a change! Feed both dogs who insist on swapping meals - Dexter eats the puppy food and Ollie eats the senior mix......crazy mixed up dogs, wonder who they take after!!!!! Been to schmooze with the parents at the karate club tonight, its only an hour and saves me from having to do something at home! Back home, Rick Steins Far East Odyssy is on - I am not a great fish eater but I love his programmes, hubby would love to eat at his Padstow restaurant, who knows....that might happen yet. Sending some love out to a few peeps I haven't seen on here lately: Freckles, Brambledigger, Creative & Lorraine....also hoping that Dev's back to work experience is going well. By the way Christine, what do you think about booking a late deal holiday for Luke & Buttercup, give us both a break ;) Thought for today: Seven days without laughter makes one weak. Mort Walker
