Just to save people wondering and worrying I thought I'd leave a note. I was quite poorly over the weekend with very very bad constipation. When I wasn't in bed sleeping, I was curled up on the sofa moaning and whimpering!

I did log on to the site and low and behold, another little storm in a teacup was brewing.

This was the final straw for me, I have supported this site and the people on it because it helped ME feel good about my own battle. I have made some amazing friends and met some truly inspirational people. But all these offensive comments and people being so quick to jump in for a "cyber punch up" has put me off.

I've decided to take a break, hopefully I will miss the site and come back and once again amaze you all with the 'glamorous lifestyle of a brain tumour patient living on one wage' again.

I will pop back on from time to time to see whats happening with the friends I've made but life is just way too short for cyber drama.

Thank you ladies & gents, its not the people particularly but the feeling you get when you read the comments, I've been lucky none have been aimed at me and I am wise enough to know that I can switch this magic box off and they all go "poooof" but its draining and upsetting to constantly be confronted by it here..I can't imagine what some of the newer members think!

I am not leaving, wouldn't give anyone that satisfaction lol... just going to take a break and recharge by batteries and enjoy the lead up to Xmas.

You'll see me pop up from time to time.

Just as so many problems are found with absentee landlords, we are seeing the problems of absentee admin.

Now that may well be an unfair comment and if so the opportunity is here for an admin to refute this. I prefer to hope that it is due to faults within the site and our comments and complaints never reach administrators.

But before this valuable site implodes for goodness sake deal with the problem.

Dear Debs,

Firstly Iam so sorry that you are feeling ill but hey - what's a bit of constipayion between friends? I am the same - it's bloody pain killers.

I am so sorry that you have decided to take a break - I hope that's all it is. I truly didn't mean to upset anyone but like the dissenters who want free speach they must allow me the same privelege.I knew there was a risk in what I did but I did it to inspire hope - my hotspots are nearly healed and it was to show people that how bad things are they DO get better.

I am truly amazed that TESCO has followed your blog - the latest Christmas ad where people are describing the food they are serving reads like one of your recipes! I hope they give you royalties.Don't stay away too long - we need you and people like you!

Debs your Deliberations and your lovely pics and sense of fairness and humour will be sadly missed. the site will never change we will always have the cyber punch ups.

awwww debs... sorry i have no idea what happened... i have only just started comming back on the last 2 days... i blogged and only read a couple of blogs by people i know ..... one of the reasons i haven been on is for the same reason....
