Teri contacted me in the early hours of this morning to tell me, 'with heavy heart that Bert passed away after fighting so hard for 18 months'.

Bert did indeed fight so very hard over the last 18 months and what more valiant soldier could he have had by his side? No one could have done more than Teri and I know she is so grateful for the support of all her many friends on this site. I know we will all be wishing her well at this time, whilst of course hoping that Bert is now finally at peace.

Please join me in wishing Teri and her family strength and courage at this time, whilst sending them our love, hugs and any support we can offer.

Teri - I am so sad to hear about Bert. Also I appreciate your kindness and support for me while you were going through such a tough time. I hope Bert is now past all discomfort and pain.

Have followed your blog since I joined this site. I am so sorry that bert has passed away.I wish you strength and courage to face the sad times ahead. I speak as someone whose husband died almost three years ago so I know well what you are going through.Bert is now free from pain.
