I need sleep! The colonoscopy found 3 benign polyps and they removed the largest. Tiny one they didn't bother with and the other was awkward to get to - but nothing to worry about.
Today tells me the cancer is isolated and has not spread.
They might want me back in a couple of years to remove the other 2 but I'm not sure I can drink 4 pints of dissolved sherbert plus 2 of water in one evening and spend all night heading to the loo.
Roll on Tuesday and the laraposcopy/keyhole surgery plus camera in my stomach again to precisely define the extent of the cancer. General anaesthetic this time so I might be a bit dopey next week.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
