Update - getting busy...

Another flurry of activity this morning from the hospital - booked my laroposcopy (exploratory keyhole surgery) for next Tues which means another covid test on Saturday and a pre-op on Thurs before my colonoscopy. Need a diary to keep track. Covid tests are the least of my worries - just a pain as it means we both have to isolate between the test and hospital appointment.

Then, after the phone call, I got a letter giving the results of the ultrasound scan on my heart after the abnormality discovered during my cardiopulminary exercise test. Apparently I have an apical hypertropic obstructive cardiomyopathy! I'm told this is not very significant and may cause light headedness, palpitations or fainting but to be on the safe side I've been referred to a cardiologist.
