So, a week ago I had an endoscopy to investigate what might be causing hiccups, heartburn and breathing difficulties at every meal time. They found a 5cm growth at the top of my stomach/bottom of my eosophogus and took a sample for a biopsy.
On Tuesday I went for a CT scan (they had a cancellation) and am now awaiting the results, diagnosis and treatment plan. CT scans are a bit strange.
I am now working out how to adjust my diet to eat smaller quantities more often - grazing and snacking rather than pigging! Christmas dinner is going to be one long buffet.
I'll feel better once I have a pathway to enjoying hiccup-free meals again. Beer drinking seems to be unaffected - oh for a decent pub served pint.
