Came out of hospital last Monday and apart from being tired, I have been feeling better than I have done for a long time. Have been pottering around in the garden ( the best therapy there is ), getting tired but resting in between jobs. As you all now know we went to see Mum/Nan on Saturday, had a lovely couple of hours with Lewis & Debbie there as well.I had an appointment with the oncologist today and he examined my neck where the secondary tumour is and he thinks it has shrunk considerably, I don't agree with considerably but it has definately shrunk and bearing in mind that I have only had one chemo. then it has to be great news. They are going to slightly reduce the dose on Friday's chemo. in order to try and reduce the tiredness I have had but they say it will not reduce the effect of the chemo.. I will have a CT scan in about 2 weeks time and then we should really have a clearer idea of what is happening. Thanks to everyone for your continued support, it is a great help to me and Val. Will write more next week after the chemo. kicks in again.
