Had a very fruitful Users' Group meeting on Saturday morning. Lots of good stuff going on, and we mapped out our priorities for the coming year.
If Macmillan need a new campaign, they need to sort out the wating times fiasco. Why on earth should hospitals be penalised because a patient decides to go on holiday rather than have treatment?
We're going to have a special meeting to concentrate on cancer research, and try to advertise it widely so that we can involve more people. There is a consumer research panel in the network, and one of our members is on it, and we were also hoping to show some of the videos from the NCTI website - but when I went to check they seem to have disappeared!
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
