Was wondering about an hour ago, how to start this blog. Had the idea to start writing one while waiting & waiting with my wife in clinic, but thought must start it with a funny story, but nothing funny has happened today. Then by chance, I flood the house.
After a long day, my wife says put the bath on for me, so I did. Then while we're talking to our oldest daughter about whether she should go on a school trip or go to the wig shop with her Mum, we forgot about the bath. Finally, at about 10.30, the 11 year old decides to go to the toilet before bed and has to wade through a small lake to get there, which delayed her bedtime again, as she then watched our puppy go wild as I tried to brush the water out the back door. Mind you it was quite amusing, he was trying to catch the water as it splashed into the back yard. Took me over an hour to clear it up in the end.
What's that got to do with Cancer though? Well it can teach you to laugh at the little mishaps. My wife's got her second round of Chemo & has her first visit to the wig shop tomorrow. Nothing to laugh at there, surely?
