How can good news turn to bad so fast? Update

Less than one minute read time.
G was finally found a bed in a side room (albeit on the female orthopaedic ward) at three thirty this morning. Since then things have moved quite fast for the NHS. His lung has been X-rayed, and yes, the tumour has shrunk. Well we did tell them the results from Germany, but perhaps they wanted to see for themselves. Then he had an ultra sound of his kidneys, nothing to worry about there. Finally an ECG confirmed his heart is still sound. The one thing they haven’t done yet is to treat the severe diarrhoea that he consulted the doctor about in the first place. I hope that that is next on the list, and I can have him home again

    Fingers crossed for him Daffie.

NHS are very untrusting of proceedures carried out in other countries, despite reports and copies of scan etc.

My husband had the same problem as his secondary cancer was diagnosed in Texas. Couldn't identify the primary though so that gave the NHS something to get their teeth into.

I hope they now concentrate on his toilet trouble, get it sorted and you can have him home...

I know how much I hated the two spells my husband has spent in hospital.

Hi Daffi, do you think your hubby might

have an infection in the bowel, just a

suggestion, Do you know if he has had

a swab taken, ask the nurse just to be

    cautious.

    With Love Lucylee. xx

Let's hope that they keep their skates on Daffie. The NHS is just too lax.
