G. went for his three-month check today. He only sees a respitary consultant now, the oncologist wrote him off, literally as soon as the chemo fininshed. I say check, but it was a very cursory affair. No scans or x-rays, not even a weighing this time. The verdict that he is still doing well was based solely on how well G. looks, a quick listen to his chest, and a couple of questions about his appetite. Back in another three months unless he experiences any problems. Fingers crossed now a good family Christmas.
