confusion!!

Less than one minute read time.

went out with Dad for coffee, he looks really well and healthy, i cant quite believe that his results are bad! he has an appointment to start chemo at the end of April and I haven't a clue what to expect. I know I will take charge and be strong for the rest of our family, specially mum, but I need someone to talk to!!

    Hi Mindymoo

It's an ironic thing about cancer that you can start out looking perfectly well, then look absolutely awful during treatment. But as long as you come out the other side okay, it's worth it.

There's a Mac community especially for carers - you should find lots of support there. And if you need an extra hug to keep you going, a status update will generally do it.

I hope your dad's treatment goes well. I had chemo for peritoneal cancer, and didn't suffer too badly - I wasn't sick at all, though I did get awfully tired - but all cancers and all patients are different.

Best of luck with everything, and some hugs to be going on with,

    Hilary

Hi Mindy know what you mean. Like you im new to this but i have spent some time on this site and found out lots of things and ways to help. We have just started our first cycle of chemo. If we stay positive for them as I think that is what they need us to be.................Mick
