Has anybody experience of cystitas treatment consisting of a course of treatment lasting approximately nine months. It consists of six weekly plus once a month for a further six months and is given by cathater.
I am at present on my sixth weekly treatment and wondered if anyone has had a satisfactory full course of treatment. At the moment I have a slight improvement. but wondered if there are any side effects or variation in time before postiive results are felt.
The cystitis I have was a result of the side effect from BCG for treatment of bladder cancer and often referred to as chemcal cyststis.
I am an 86 year old male but I understand long term cystitis is much more prevelant in females.
Would very much like to hear from anyone able to give me details of their experience and how much benefit received.
