Hi guys,
I wanted to raise money for Macmillan (my mum was supported in Macclesfield by Macmillan nurses after her mastectomy 6 years ago and it was about time I gave something back) and I can't run or jump or do heights, but what i do do is crafts. I set up a facebook event and had my friends round my house doing different crafts, I called it Crafternoon against Cancer. We raised £95 and had a great day.
We made buttons, tea cup candles, broaches out of felt and ribbons and cards. all the crafts were easy and even my friends who are not crafty at all did a great job and took something home.
If you like the sound of it get being creative (saves you having to run 10K or jump off a high building with a rope!). if you want any ideas comment here and I'll point you in the right direction.
