Help us shape the Online Community

Here on Macmillan's Community, we want to make sure our online space grows and develops in line with what our members want and need. That's why we're reaching out to you, our valued Community, to share your thoughts and ideas.

Below we have a few polls asking for your vote on how you'd like to see our digital space develop and grow. We would love for as many members as possible to take this opportunity to actively contribute to the future of our Community.

Your thoughts and ideas hold immense value which is why we want to hear from you. By sharing your vote with us, you're playing a vital role in helping us shape the Community and helping others get the most from the site.

More ideas? Why not share them in the comments section below. We'd love to hear from you!

  • It's not the format or the content - nothing wrong with that.  It's fine.  It just isn't a blog!   It need to be at the top level of the site, which I think it is, under Community Updates? That's appropriate.   But then it appears in the blogs as well and I can't see the reasoning for that - do you think that gives it more visibility perhaps?   And links to "Community News "items appear under the "News" item too, also fine.

  • If you just called it "community news" and not "community news blog" that would be an improvement (for me).

  • Thank you   - good to know! We'll take this into consideration Slight smile

  • Sorry to hear your diagnosis, I was diagnosed on the 22nd June with Grade 3 invasive ductual breast cancer oestrogen positive and HER 2 positive, has gone in to lymph nodes, 3 days later had CT scan and Wednesday oncology where had bloods done ecg and talked about treatment plan, more bloods yesterday and mrsa swab, Tuesday have pretreatment phone appointment then oncology hour later then picc line fitted half hour after, Wednesday mri scan and then start 1st chemo on 11th and then 2 days after have an echo done, so been abit of a whirlwind, but they have moved fast. Treatment plan is Ec-t chemotherapy with trastuzumab and pertuzumab then surgery to remove any remaining and lymph nodes then radiotherapy.

    Good luck with everything.

  • Sorry Ellen that went to quickly . That's an example of the posts getting  mixed into the chat like "It seems Im a patient now" in between posts about gardens, machines,  choirs etc. it got a brief reply but really should have been able to be accessed by more people that could have replied but unless you trawl through all the chat in that thread then  it gets lost if that makes sense.  I also cant help feeling that the title of that group needs changed it is very misleading for people in my thoughts anyway.  xxxxx Gail x
