    Hi Colin,

So sorry this is going on for you.  I am a caregiver (my husband has Myeloma, age 49 and I cared for my mother (62) with her cancer until passing).  My observations as one from the outside looking in on loved ones and friends, its a 'head game'.  Granted it is occurring in the physical body, but the head game and getting into the fight seems to be the most difficult.  If you haven't read it, I encourage you to read Lance Armstrong's book "Its Not About the Bike".  I promote it a lot on this forum, but I was so moved by it and found it fascinating, regardless of the cancer you have.  He is very open, sometimes painfully so, about what was running through his head.  Of course is outcome was awesome AND you get the back story on him winning the Tour.

Good luck and stay strong, also keep us posted.
