Up nice and early

1 minute read time.

Actually, I had a lay in 05:30 I went to bed 00:30. I like long days, I can get more done. I had my tablets followed by a mug of coffee, then off to Sainsburys, Morrisons then Iceland for a few last minute purchases. Job done. I have wrapped Carol's pressie, I could not get a Pink one but had to settle for a Lilac dressing gown. She had her real pressie a month or so ago, as the weather was cold. I was in an outdoor supplier looking for walking gear I needed, when she saw this very nice looking knitted & fleeced hooded coat. I'll not tell you the price, but there were a few "Going out for meals" missing afterwards, Good job it was on sale. I have since weatherproofed it The world famous Granddad (my son has 'friends' world wide on facebook, and is always talking about him) is coming to stay over Christmas. 91+ going on 45 with the cheek of a six year old. My eldest son, the facebook fan, is doing the cooking Christmas day, I get the honour of cleaning up afterwards. My youngest son who is going through a very bad session with disc problems compounding on his Sciatic nerve will have to struggle with his meals as he can not sit but has to lay down. He can still drive once he has sorted himself out in his car, and that can take a very long time. Sad to say, Carol is suffering big time with her left knee. She goes to our local hospital later in January to see a specialist with the view of having a replacement. I think it is about time to get her morning coffee, I think I heard a movement in our bedroom. So, with that, I'll close.

Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and a great 2014
