Prostate cancer discovered after a blood test for Cholesterol. I was sent to my local hospital for a bladder test. My GP thought I was holding too much liquid. I was! 3Ltr was drained from my bladder. An overnight stay followed by an exam for prostate gave slight cause for concern. This back in July 16 2013 Several following appointments and a biopsy confirmed my condition. 4 months later I had my catheter removed and was given single use self insertion compact catheters. Now I had my freedom back, swimming, walking, archery and general living, no chafing, no leg bags or night bags to come undone causing discomfort, more than embarrassment.
So, let's get on with life and take all it can offer. More to follow as & when.
