Happy Monday!

1 minute read time.

Hi all,

Hope everyone is feeling good on this lovely wintery Monday morning. I had a fab weekend with family and friends round Saturday night to watch fireworks and a little BBQ. I live right by the Abbey Gardens and they have a wonderful fireworks display which we get to watch for free in our own garden. So we lit the barbie and did sausages, burgers and baked potatoes to keep us all warm. Then did some marshmallow kebabs for the kids and yummy hot chocolate.  We ended up having a few drinks and watching the boxing which was a bit boring if I'm honest. I like to see a bit more action in a fight ;-).

I have my 4th cycle of Herceptin coming up on Wednesday. It all seems to be going very well so I am sure this one will be no different. I have been keeping up nicely with the gym and its paying off...I have lost an inch from my waist so far. I have also started doing some yoga based classes which really help with relaxation and inner well being. Hopefully it will all go towards improving my prognosis, well it cant hurt can it??

Love to all

Dear Chriss, glad you had a good night, and like Debs tell my self I will 'get fit' in the New Year. Who am I kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Love Linda p.s. I do walk my dogs on the beach for an hour every day so hope this counts

  • Hi Chrissi

Have got my application form for the gym and am going to try yoga and pilates. Cheap now that I am 60. Some things are good about being old. Have to take evidence of my age. A picture of me bald during chemo should do it. I look 108.

Put on a stone during chemo due to large amounts of comfort food like chocolate cake.

Back to mormal now and need to tone up before op to reconstruct breast in the New Year.

    Love

Sue hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I do, some of the classes are really full on but yoga and pilates are 'do-able' and you really feel the effects without the huff and puff! xx
