As 2010 fast approaches I have realised I am entering into my third year of having cancer in my life. Its gone quick I can tell you!! I turned 29 on Christmas day and what a Christmas it was. We had the perfect day, everyone got loads of fab prezzies (I got the Pauls Boutique bag I wanted..yay) and we had a beautiful lunch at Cafe Rouge. It was great, I couldnt have asked for better.
I am aware I havent blogged for a while but I have been looking on the site now and then. Since I have been back at work which is going great I havent really found much time to get online. I had treatment on the 22nd December which went fine except I had a bit of pain in my groin that night which seemed to travel down my leg. I had a feel and the lump there seems more palpable but not huge so I will leave it until my next onc appointment. I have scans etc due over the course of the next month.
I dont know how I feel about the New Year yet. I have always found I have hoped for good things but something always happens so I think this year I will just take it as it comes. No resolutions really just the determination to see my 30th birthday and also welcome in 2011 feeling exactly as I do now (not that I'm wishing the year away but you get what I mean!) Also there is talk of skiing next Christmas so I dont want to miss that ;-))
So I hope you have all had as fantastic a Christmas as I have and I wish everyone all the love and best wishes in the world for 2010.
Love Chrissi xxx
