Hi everyone, may well be away for a few days, sat waiting for a phone call from my friends daughter, and needed to have a rant, went to see my friend on sunday who has sclc and at the end of this journey, she was in bed with cot sides and an alarm to detect movement as with the drugs she was confused and had fallen, but on monday they sat her in a chair without alarm and now a nasty fall and has broken her hip. Off to the main hospital and operation last night, but things do not look good, not that they were anyway, but at least her and husband were in the same hospital after 6 weeks apart, now back to be miles away and neither well enough to visit the other, so sad when they have been together for 50+ years. Patsy was a district nursing sister and was such a careing one, but she hasnt it seems had the best of luck on this road. They did take her husband to say goodbye to her on his bed, whilst waiting for the ambulance, but he got so upset they have sedated him, and it appears he to now is even more poorly. What on earth can happen next...x
