3rd FEC falls on my birthday

I will be 28 years old on the 24th of June. I am taking 3rd FEC on the same day. I wish otherwise. I wish things had been different. I dont want to spend my birthday feeling sick and cant even have a makeup birthday until 5-7days afterwards.

I just hope and pray that 2011 will be a better year and beginning of a great life for me.

just wanted to say - last june - my son was well on with his chemo .......it was his little boys 4th b-day ....he had his chemo in the morning then we all went along to the water-park .......including paul - we all had a great time (paul stayed seated in the shade under a huge brolly) - but he said later he knew he would be feeling crap - so he may as well feel crap while enjoying himself - he never felt as bad as he thought he would !!!! fingers crossed you manage to have some fun too on your b-day

I know what you mean, I started chemo 3 days after my 34th birthday last year.

Chemo started very quickly after my diagnosis and I had very little time to adjust to the news. I felt fine for the following couple of days but was sick for 3 days after that.

But you know what it does not matter, what matters is that I am still here and will be here for my next birthday which will be better than that one.

I also had chemo on 31st Dec, so I am definitely looking forward to 2011 too !!

Have a happy birthday and don't let chemo ruin your day.
