Hi everyone

Back home this afternoon after another op didnt have any problems after surgery so started on solids (thank goodness ) Nurses in F5 are brilliant at Southampton General nothing fazes them always a cheerful word & smile & such hard workers .Have a mass of staples & stitches down the right side from behind my ear to just my armpit should have come out earlier & entered local halloween events would have won easily first prize .Having staples etc removed Friday go back later for review then radiotherapy

Hi Ya Chas,

Glad to hear your coping with your staples and stitches. You want to do what I did I asked one of

the nurses when I went to get my staples out if she would put them in a sample bottle so I could bring them home all 75 of them. That was 12 yrs ago and they still look as good as new.

Hi sorry havent been around lately just didnt seem to be able to blog anything. Had my staples & stitches removed by local surgery had my B12 shot at the same time Tomorrow have to have a Barium meal to diagnose lower bowel growth one thing after another oh well such is life.Had the first mould made for my Radiotherapy mask had to remove beard & moustache which ive had for about 50 years been given my appointments for Radiotherapy lasts till 10 2 11 daily Regards & good wishes to everyone Chas
