Dubious????

Less than one minute read time.
With regard to info on imposters. I must admit to being new to the chat room scene. I'm almost afraid to use it. I constantly dip into it whilst perusing the site, to see who's chatting. I quite often feel that I'm interupting peoples conversations with my fingertips! I don't know enough people yet to make any judgements about it, but I do feel it is an important communication tool. It would be a shame for people to stop using it. I find this website utterly irresistable, I cannot stop myself from indulging in it on a daily basis. I only joined last week but I'm totally hooked! I've been really moved by every1's stories. It's very intimate. Lots of love & respect to every1.

I "stumbled" into the chat room this morning and found it a wonderfully bright place to be, with some warm, charming welcomes from those who were there. It felt silly to be shy on internet, but I understand you - I too, felt that I was interrupting something quite special, having just joined the site today, but I am sure that as time progresses, and as we get to know the voices and the faces here, we will be more comfortable with dropping in for a chat. And I agree, I think this site is a wonderful place, made of a lot of sincere, loving people. Take care, B xxx

Please dont feel that you are intruding. I have had kidney cancer and now have the all clear, just another check in 3 months and i will be right as rain. I felt that i should not be in the chat room anymore as there is very sick people on their and nothing wrong with me.But they told me to  stay with them. I have a habbit of turning the computer on every morning just to say hello. As i am from NZ they give me a lot of slack which i enjoy. I would miss these great bunch of people if i decided to sign off the site. They have become like family to me. Dont feel like you are an intruder,Just type when you feel like it.There is always someone that can help. Take care and look forward to seeing you on this site.

    Hiya,

I haven't been on chat for longer than a couple of months but already I feel like part of the furniture!  Its a great place full of great people and we have a good laugh and sometimes even a good cry!  With regards to "imposters" we all know that lies eventually catch up with you and as genuine people you shouldn't be afraid...so come on...JUMP IN!!!

I can completely understand that when you first enter the chat room it might seem as though you are interrupting a conversation, afterall, you probably are!  However, it's more like walking into a room full of old friends unannounced!  Just don't be shy, come on in and say hello, we're always ready to welcome new friends.

chai, please don`t get put off the chat room or the site, i only joined at the end of jan so i`m quite new myself, i was like you at first i am quite new to all things computer, i`m a hairstylist and don`t use them in my line of work ha ha.i was slow at typing and by the time i joined in they had moved on to another subjectm (still do lol), but it really doesn`t matter cos if you need to say something everyone will read what you write, and eventhough there are somedifferent conversations going on everyone still reads all, something i just learned is if you want to chat to one person privately you click on their name and a seperate box comes up for you, so you can ask questions you might be a bit worried about or talk to someone who has been through the same as you etc.either way your always welcome
