My husband and I are the parents of two wonderful kids. In June '06 our (then 14 yr. old) son was diagnosed with an intracranial non-germinomatous germ cell tumor. According to his oncologist, this type of tumor is very rare.  Our son has had 18 months of treatments (including chemo, radiation, and stem-cell transplant).  In Nov. 08 we learned of his relapse.  He started another chemo regime in Dec. 08 and tomorrow another MRI will be taken to learn if the chemo is slowing the growth of cancer cells.  Currently, I do not have any information to help you; but, prayfully you will find it soon!!
